Over the years, we have seen some incredible head-to-head matchups in the NBA. But there has been a very exciting rivalry brewing in the last few years; the one between Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo

The two international superstars have had some incredible battles in the past, as they are amongst the best players in the entire league. And tonight, we will witness it again as Embiid is set to take on Giannis for the second time this season. Giannis and the Bucks were able to secure the victory the first time around, but repeating that won't be easy.

Giannis holds the edge in the overall battle

The two superstars have met 12 times in their careers, and Giannis holds the edge (8-4). He has won twice as many games as Embiid, and he dominates him in overall stats as well.

In 12 games, Giannis has averaged 32.7 PPG, 13.9 RPG, and 6.8 APG, while Embiid is putting up 26.8 PPG, 12.0 PPG, and 5.0 APG. He has consistently dominated Embiid over the years and has shut him down several times.

Giannis also has two 40-point games and one 50-point game when matchup up against the Sixers center, while Embiid has one 40-point game when playing versus Antetokounmpo. But with Embiid on a tear, Giannis will have a tough time stopping him tonight.

Embiid has been a monster in the last two games

The Sixers superstar had a tough start to the season, looking a bit out of shape and lacking the fire. But the big man has picked it up in the past few games. He is now averaging 32.3 PPG and 10.1 RPG on 53% shooting.

Embiid has scored 101 points in the past 2 games, doing most of his damage in the paint. In his last game, he scored 59 points and added 11 rebounds, 8 assists, and 7 blocks in a historic performance -- no player in NBA history has achieved that stat line, which speaks volumes about Joel's ability and dominance.

With James Harden being injured, Embiid has responded brilliantly. That's why Giannis and the Bucks must be at their best in order to stop 'The Process'.
