The Milwaukee Bucks play the Utah Jazz in the back end of a back-to-back

The Milwaukee Bucks shoot for a second-straight win when they battle the Utah Jazz on Sunday night. The Bucks will play the back end of a back-to-back after playing in Dallas on Saturday night, where they scored a come-from-behind 129-117 victory.

Against the Mavericks, the Bucks clawed back from a 25-point second-quarter deficit to give Doc Rivers his first win as a Bucks coach. The win over Dallas snapped Milwaukee’s two-game slide and improved to 1-2 in their current five-game road trip. The road trip will end on

Tuesday when the Bucks play the Phoenix Suns.

High-scoring teams collide

The Milwaukee-Utah duel will feature two of the league’s high-scoring teams. Utah defeated Milwaukee in their meeting on January 8th, 132-116.

The Bucks are 6-4 in the last ten games, averaging 122.0 points, 43.1 rebounds, 26.6 assists, 7.4 steals and 4.4 blocks per game.

The Jazz have gone 4-6 in their last ten games, where they averaged 124.1 points, 46.4 rebounds, 29.9 assists, 4.8 steals and 6.2 blocks per game. Their opponents have averaged 126.6 points per game.

Milwaukee is second in the Eastern Conference with a 33-16 record, while Utah is in 10th place in the Western Conference with a 24-26 record.

The Jazz has lost its last three games and is coming off a 124-127 loss to a Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia Sixers.

Utah is pretty solid playing on their home floor, where it is currently 15-7. The Bucks are 12-11 in away games so far.

Injury report

Andre Jackson Jr. (wrist) and Brook Lopez (personal) did not play against Dallas on Saturday. Their availability remains uncertain, and with Milwaukee on a back-to-back, some key players may sit out.

Utah has no players on the injured list.
