2024-25 Schedule Released For Bucks' NBA G League Affiliate

The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, released its 2024-25 schedule. The season opener is Nov. 8 and all home games are played at Oshkosh Arena.

MILWAUKEE — Herd basketball is now set to resume in Oshkosh.

The Herd, Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate, released its full 2024-25 schedule Tuesday ahead of the team’s official Nov. 8 season-opener on the road against the Iowa Wolves.

According to the release, the Herd will play 24 games at Oshkosh Arena, with 15 of those home contests set to tip-off on the weekend. The Herd open their season with a 16-game Tip Off Tournament, which is similar to the NBA Cup, where G league squads are placed into four regions to compete in 14 group games.

The winners of those regions, along with the teams with the next four best records regardless of region, will then advance to compete for the NBA G League Winter Showcase Championship in Orlando between Dec. 19-22. Following the Winter Showcase, the Herd will begin the start of their regular season with a back-to-back on the road in North Carolina against the Greensboro Swarm Dec. 27-28.

All Home games will tip-off at 6 p.m. CT on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) and 7 p.m. CT on weekends (Friday and Saturday) except for Sunday, Jan. 12 vs. Osceola Magic at 12:30 p.m., the Herd’s School Day Matinee presented by BMO on Thursday, Jan. 23 vs. Motor City Cruise at 11:30 a.m., and Sunday, Jan. 26 vs. Windy City Bulls at 5:00 p.m.

Notable features of the Wisconsin Herd's schedule:

• 15 total home games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
• 10 back-to-backs this season – six home/home, four away/away
• One six-game homestand, one five-game homestand
• Two five-game road trips
• Eight games in November, 10 games in December, 14 games in January, seven games in February and 11 games in March

The final game of the G League regular season is March 29 vs. the San Diego Clippers (Los Angeles Clippers).
