After ending their four-game homestand with a wild overtime win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will play their next three games on the road.

The Bucks capped their four-game homestand with a 143-142 overtime win over the Kings. Damian Lillard starred in that win by sinking a three-pointer at the buzzer.

Milwaukee finished the homestand 3-1 and will travel to Cleveland to take on Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

Back to winning ways

After Cleveland, the Bucks will play against the Detroit Pistons in a two-game series before heading back to Milwaukee for a three-game homestand.

The Bucks started the year losing four of their first five games. With those three successive wins at home, they improved to a decent 4-4 slate this month.

Interestingly, three of Milwaukee’s next five games will be against Cleveland, as they will play two straight games at the Fiserv Forum after the Bucks’ two-game series with the Pistons.

Top teams in the East

Milwaukee is currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 28-12 record, with Cleveland just right behind them as the Cavaliers are in fourth spot with a 23-15 card.

“They’re a very good team, obviously. And when they get healthy, they’re going to be even more dangerous,” said Griffin of the Cavaliers.

Milwaukee defeated Cleveland in their first meeting on December 29th, 119-111.

“I think we played them without (Evan) Mobley, we played them without (Darius) Garland, but Mitchell is tough, but when you’re on the road, all the games are tough. They are in our division. It’s going to be a tougher game next time we play them,” Griffin said.
