Damian Lillard had a quiet night when the Milwaukee Bucks scored a vengeful 140-126 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.

Lillard scored 21 points on a paltry 6-for-14 shooting from the field and a 2-for-8 clip from three-point area.

Memorable night

Even though it wasn't his usual productive night that saw him commit four turnovers, Dame still had something to celebrate as he ended up moving into fifth place on the NBA's all-time 3-point list.

Dame now has 2,451 triples, overtaking Kyle Korver, who made 2,450 three-pointers in a 20-year NBA career.

The three-pointer that allowed Lillard to overtake Korver came at the 8:06 mark of the third period when he received a kick-out pass from Brook Lopez and dropped a trifecta from the left wing.

Kyle tips hat to Dame

During the first timeout that was called after Lillard made the historic trifecta, Korver congratulated Dame through a video that was played at the Fiserv Forum.

"Dame Lillard. Congratulations, man, you are now in the top-five all-time, all-time for 3-pointers made in a career. Not many people can say that they are top-five in anything. I used to be able to say that. Not anymore, but that's OK. Because, you know, you're one of those guys that changed the game. You are. And I've always admired watching you shoot and pulling from things I would watch from your play, from your mechanics," said Korver, who is now the assistant general manager of the Atlanta Hawks. "So congratulations. Well deserved. Keep on going. One day, people will be coming after you, and it's all good because, ultimately, that just means the game is getting better. So congrats man, and all the best to you. Keep firing away."

Lillard is the third active player to reach the top five. He is behind Reggie Miller, James Harden, Ray Allen and Stephen Curry on the all-time list. Curry leads the group with 3,496 three-pointers.
