Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time league MVP, will get to share another special moment on an NBA floor with his brothers, Thanasis and Alex, as they will be the coaches of Team Dwyane in the 2023 All-Star Celebrity Game on February 17 at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Rare time together

Because of the hectic schedules of their respective professional careers, the three Antetokounmpos don't get to spend much time together on a basketball floor. Giannis and Thanasis are teammates on the Milwaukee Bucks, while Alex—the youngest of the three—is playing professionally for the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Bucks. The 2023 Celebrity Game will be a unique opportunity for them to reunite on the court and experience a special family moment that they won’t forget anytime soon.

They'll be joined on the sidelines by Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn. Their team will be composed of the likes of Utah Jazz minority owner and honorary captain Dwyane Wade, NFL player DK Metcalf, actress-singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe, rapper 21 Savage, and reigning Celebrity Game MVP Alex Toussaint to name a few.

Worthy opponents

Team Dwyane's opponents will be Team Ryan—which is named after Utah Jazz team governor Ryan Smith. The opposing team will be handled by two-time NBA champion Lisa Leslie, rapper Fat Joe, and Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman. Their team will have former NFL player Calvin Johnson, MLB star Albert Pujols, WWE stud The Miz, and WNBA All-Star Diamond DeShields.

The game will benefit the 5 For The Fight Cancer Research Internship in partnership with Howard University.
