Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has apparently fired a warning shot.

Antetokounmpo posted a photo of himself on his social media with the caption: "I'm tired of the disrespect. I'm coming."

The post came on the heels of Giannis' exclusion from the NBA's All-Defensive teams. Giannis's Milwaukee Bucks teammates, Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez, were in the All-Defensive First Team.

Missing the cut

The Bucks forward actually got more total votes (44) and points (60) than the Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo, who received 40 total votes and 53 points.

However, Antetokounmpo's votes came at forward, while Adebayo's came at center, earning the Heat big man the center spot for the All-Defensive Second team.

Antetokounmpo also fell short in the MVP race, losing the award to Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia Sixers.

While it was unclear if Giannis' post had something to do with the all-defense selection, the Greek Freak will undoubtedly be extra motivated in the next season.

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks' campaign this season came to a painful end after they got eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

Disappointing finish

Milwaukee made a lot of noise in the regular season. They racked up 16 straight wins at one point and went on to advance to the playoffs as the number one overall seed after ending the season with an NBA-best 58-24 record.

Giannis was superb in the regular season, where he averaged a career-high 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks.

The Bucks, however, could not sustain the momentum when they met the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.

Antetokounmpo suffered a lower back injury in Game 1, and that entirely changed the complexion of the best-of-seven series.

The Heat went on to eliminate the Bucks in just five games in what was the biggest upset in recent NBA story. With Milwaukee suffering a painful playoff debacle and Giannis falling short in individual accolades, a revenge season is definitely in order.
