The Milwaukee Bucks have slapped the dreaded “questionable” tag on superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo for their upcoming game against the Brooklyn Nets. The team has announced the "Greek Freak," stating that he is currently nursing a right calf injury that requires attention. Whether he will receive clearance to participate in Wednesday's away game remains uncertain.

Looking to bounce back

The Bucks are coming off a 129-122 loss to the New York Knicks on Christmas Day. He was also listed as questionable for that game but ended up playing and firing in 32 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, a steal, and two blocks.

The former two-time league MVP is having another sensational season for the Bucks, averaging 30.8 points on 60 percent shooting, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.

Iron man

After missing 19 games last season and 15 the season before, Giannis has been an iron man this season, missing one out of the Bucks’ 30 games. That absence came on November 15 in a game against the Toronto Raptors.

Should Antetokounmpo miss Wednesday’s ballgame, the Bucks have the luxury of turning to another superstar to carry them in Damian Lillard, who is averaging 26.2 points and 7.0 assists per game.
