Even though the Milwaukee Bucks' season ended with a shocking first-round exit, Giannis Antetokounmpo is still grateful for completing his 10th year in the NBA. The Greek Freak took to social media to thank his supporters.

"Blessed to have played my 10th NBA season. To my Bucks fans and fans around the world, THANK You. Thank you for your love and support," the two-time MVP wrote on his social media accounts.

Working to get better

Antetokounmpo vowed to make the most of the unwelcome vacation to get better.

"It's time to get better and ready for year 11. See you soon," Antetokounmpo said.

Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks suffered a painful debacle in the playoffs when they got bounced by the No. 8 seed Miami Heat. Needless to say, hopes were high for the Bucks when they ended the regular season with an NBA-best 58-24 record.

They advanced to the playoffs as the number one overall seed, but ran into a determined Heat and were eliminated in just five games in the first round of the playoffs in what was the biggest upset in recent NBA history.

Milwaukee's unceremonious exit led to the firing of head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Historic season

It was such a disappointing finish for the Bucks, but on an individual level, it was still a tremendous season for the Antetokounmpo.

It was in this season that he became the franchise leader in points, assists, and games played. Giannis, the 15th overall pick in the 2013 draft, is also the franchise leader in minutes played and blocks.

Antetokounmpo ended the regular season with averages of 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 steals a game.

The seven-time All-Star also wound up as an MVP finalist but eventually lost the award to Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia Sixers.

They may have stumbled this season, but with Giannis vowing to get better, there's no other way but up for the Bucks.
