There seems to be no end to the barrage of criticisms the Milwaukee Bucks have heard over this brutal stretch where they've lost four of the last five games. The latest jab comes from former NBA player Kendrick Perkins, who didn't hold back in his assessment of the team's performance.

Speaking on the NBA on ESPN, Perkins called out the Bucks for being "old and slow" and lacking the necessary hunger to compete for a championship.

Hunting season

It's open season on the Bucks. After suffering consecutive losses to the Indiana Pacers, they followed that up with a close win over the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee then lost to the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz to fall to 25-12. The loss to the Jazz was concerning as they gave up 11 three-pointers in the first quarter and fell behind by 33 points in the first half.

NBA on ESPN host Malika Andrews asked Perk if it was time to worry about the Bucks, to which the opinionated veteran answered, "Hell, yeah!"

Doesn't take much to beat the Bucks these days

NBA teams employ sophisticated scouting teams that dissect every aspect of their upcoming opponent. And Perkins says it doesn't take much to topple the Bucks.

"What's starting to show is you go in, and all you have to do is compete," Perk shared.

"The scouting report says they're not going to fight over screens, they're not going to make the extra effort on the weak side to wide-open three-point shooters, and you could drive and get to the paint on them because they have zero perimeter defenders when you look across the board," Kendrick continued.

The former NBA champion concluded that the Bucks, as presently constructed, do not have what it takes to win it all this season.

"When I think about it, they look old, and they look slow," Perkins concluded.
