Khris Middleton solidified his status as one of the greatest players to ever don the Milwaukee uniform when he moved up to the third spot in the franchise’s all-time scoring list during the Bucks’ 122-113 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

Middleton scored 26 points in the win, making him one of the franchise’s top three scorers.

Milwaukee’s top 3 scorers

Khris now has 12,012 points as a Milwaukee player, overtaking Glen Robinson, who accumulated 12,010 points after playing eight seasons with the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 17,558. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is in second place with 14,211.

“That's pretty cool — I'm happy. I still have a lot I think I can do for this franchise and for our city,” said Middleton, who joined Milwaukee in July 2013.

Middleton overtook Robinson in the list when he sank a three-pointer that gave Milwaukee a 122-111 lead with 2:05 left.

The three-pointer was part of a game-sealing 15-2 run by Milwaukee, which improved to 30-13 in the season with their second win in three days against Detroit.

Middleton went 9-for-14 from the field and also had two boards, two assists, and two steals in 26 minutes of playing time.

A key piece in Milwaukee’s title bid

On the season, Khris is averaging 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks in 25.6 minutes of playing time per contest.

The 12-year wing has already played 36 games this season and is still under a minutes restriction after undergoing a knee procedure in the offseason.

Milwaukee was able to re-sign the three-time All-Star in the offseason. The deal was a crucial move as the Bucks were able to pair Khris with Giannis and Damian Lillard in what is arguably one of the most deadly trio in the league.
