Khris Middleton achieved another franchise milestone when he moved up to fourth spot on the Milwaukee Bucks’ career scoring list.

After recently passing Michael Reed, Middleton overtook another Milwaukee legend when he scored 18 points in the Bucks’ 142-129 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday night.

The climb continues for Khash Money

Now with 1,595 points as a Bucks, Middleton passed Sidney Moncrief on Milwaukee’s all-time scoring leaders list. Moncrief played a total of 10 seasons in Milwaukee and accumulated a total of 11,594 points.

Middleton has been hounded by recurring knee injuries, but it has not prevented him from cementing his name in the Milwaukee organization.

“It feels great, everything has been worth it,” said Middleton.

Middleton’s recent feat came a week after he overtook Michael Reed in the franchise scoring list.

“Shout to Michael Reed, shout to Sydney Moncrief. Those guys have been around my whole career here so far, and they made great influence, positive on just the team, the atmosphere, the environment, giving us tips, so I mean, to come out here and pass those legends, it means a lot,” said Middleton, who is now in his 10th year with Milwaukee.

Milwaukee legends

The three-time All-Star is likely to overtake Glenn Robinson this season, as Big Dog is in third spot with 12,010 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the list with 16,540 points, followed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 14,211.

Middleton joined the Bucks in July 2013. He had the chance to play elsewhere this season, but he opted to re-sign with the Bucks.

“It’s fun being out here, it’s fun being part of a great group, and hopefully I can get going,” Middleton said.
