Giannis Antetokounmpo has caught the attention of Lamar Odom, one of the most versatile stretch bigs to ever play in the Association.

Odom, who played for 14 years in the NBA and won two championships with the LA Lakers, heaped praises on the Milwaukee Bucks main man after stumbling on a video of the Greek Freak’s top plays from the 2022-23 season.

One of the best

The video was posted by the NBA on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing Giannis’ athleticism, size, and skill. Odom retweeted the post and captioned Giannis’ featured highlight reels with: “One of the most dominant players EVER, Giannis is a problem!”

The video showed Giannis’ great ball-handling skills that culminated in rim-rattling dunks. Antetokounmpo’s tremendous shot-blocking ability was also featured in the video, as Giannis has certainly been a big problem for most defenders in the league.

The Greek Freak has gone a long way

Since making it to the NBA as Milwaukee’s 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Greek Freak has already won two MVP awards. Antetokounmpo also helped the Bucks win the championship in 2021 that ended the franchise’s 40-year title drought. Still only 28 years old, Antetokounmpo is already a seven-time All-Star and has been named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary team.

Aside from becoming one of the league’s elite scorers, Antetokounmpo has developed into a tremendous defender, making the All-Defensive First Team four times already. Giannis is one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming season as he vowed to lead the Bucks’ revenge season.

Milwaukee drew heavy criticism the past season after they failed to get past the first round via a painful 1-4 series loss to the eighth-seeded and eventual finalist Miami Heat.
