Malik Beasley etched his name in the storied Milwaukee franchise after he broke into the top four for most three-pointers made in a season. Beasley climbed up in the rankings after he dropped four trifectas in the Bucks’ 124-117 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

Milwaukee’s top three-point artists

Beasley now has 183 three-pointers this season, surpassing the 179 that Khris Middleton made in the 2018-19 season and the 182 triples that Michael Redd made in the 2002-03 season. Malik achieved the feat in his 63rd game with the Bucks.

Milwaukee legend Ray Allen is on top of the list after he made 229 triples in the 2001-02 season. Ray also owns the second spot (202) and is followed by Beasleys’ current teammate Brook Lopez (187).

Beasley has proven to be a worthy addition for the Bucks this season. In 62 games that he has played, Malik is averaging 11.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.

Always a three-point threat

His consistent outside shooting has been a valuable contribution for the Bucks. For the season, Beasley is making at least three three-pointers a game. The 19th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft is shooting 43 percent from three-point distance.

It was in Milwaukee’s 128-112 win over the Toronto Raptors on November 15th when Malik had his most three-pointers made in a game this season with eight. He finished the game with a season-high 30 points.

“That’s what he’s here for. He’s an unbelievable shooter,” former Milwaukee coach Adrian Griffin said then.
