The Milwaukee Bucks have plenty of weapons to deploy in a bid to regain the NBA throne. From seven-time All-Star Damian Lillard to two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to All-Stars Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, the Bucks have an embarrassment of riches.

They also have an exciting young prospect, sophomore forward MarJon Beauchamp, who turned heads this summer with his phenomenal performance at the Crawsover League, where he scored an incredible 83 points.

A major concern going into the start of the season is how the Bucks can foster the development of MarJon when the team's stars dominate most possessions. That said, should the Bucks trade the athletic forward instead, aiming to get a veteran who can contribute immediately?

Bare cupboard

After sending away Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen to acquire Lillard a few weeks ago, the Bucks don't have much to offer in today's trade market. But as per insider Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report, the team could have one potential asset in Beauchamp.

"After coming out on top of the Damian Lillard sweepstakes, the Milwaukee Bucks don't have many assets left to trade. Soon-to-be-23-year-old MarJon Beauchamp is still on the roster, though, and he may be Milwaukee's quickest path to another veteran rotation player," Bailey wrote.

Can MarJon help out?

The 22-year-old can ball and may contribute as part of the rotation this season. He showed this during the Bucks' first preseason game on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. MarJon came up with 19 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in the Bucks' 105-102 win.

Then again, can he do this consistently in the regular season? The jury is still out on that. In the long run, with Giannis wanting another NBA title to solidify his commitment to the Bucks before he becomes a free agent in 2025, trading MarJon away for a more established player may be best.

"There's a chance that Beauchamp plays himself into an important role this season. He was solid in summer league and led the Bucks in scoring during their preseason opener. But the allure of experience is often impossible for contenders to resist," Bailey added.
