The Milwaukee Bucks will go into the regular season with high morale after they capped their preseason campaign with a 124-116 come-from-behind win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night at the Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks charged back from deficits of as many as 12 points as they didn’t give up even after finding themselves down by nine to start the fourth period.

Reserves get the job done

Reserves AJ Green, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, and MarJon Beauchamp completed the Bucks’ comeback with their solid showings in the fourth quarter.

It was Beauchamp who put the Bucks ahead, 101-100, with a three-pointer, and after the Grizzlies regained the lead, 108-105, Green tied the contest again with his three-pointer in the final 4:58.

Antetokounmpo gave the Bucks the lead for good when he sank two free throws that made it 110-108 with 4:36 left.

Winning return for Khris

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal in 27 minutes of play.

Damian Lillard also played for 27 points and collected 19 points, four rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block.

Beauchamp was extra productive off the bench as he finished with 18 points on a 7-of-9 shooting from the field.

The come-from-behind win also marked the first appearance of Khris Middleton in the preseason. Middleton saw action for 12 minutes and tallied five points, five assists, and one rebound as he helped the Bucks end the preseason with a 3-2 record.

The Bucks will start their regular season campaign on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
