The Milwaukee Bucks’ young guns and fresh acquisitions will get to strut their wares when they compete in the 2023 NBA Summer League that will be held in Las Vegas from July 7th to 17th.

Milwaukee’s official schedule in the off-season tournament has been released, with the Bucks starting their campaign against the Denver Nuggets on July 7th.

The Bucks will then play the Phoenix Suns on July 8th before taking on the Brooklyn Nets on July 11th.

Milwaukee will cap its elimination-round assignment against the Miami Heat on July 13th.

Milwaukee to lean on MarJon

Sophomore MarJon Beauchamp is expected to lead the Bucks’ Summer League campaign.

Milwaukee’s 24th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft played 52 games in his rookie season and averaged 5.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.

The 6-foot-7 forward had his best offensive game as a Buck on November 14th, 2022, when he scored a career-high 20 points in a 106-122 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

In that game, Beauchamp played 34 minutes in a starting role, going 7-for-9 from the field, including a 3-of-4 clip from the three-point area and a perfect 3-for-3 trip to the charity stripe.

A chance to prove worth

Aside from Beauchamp, the Bucks are also expected to parade their 2023 NBA Draft acquisitions in Andre Jackson Jr. and Chris Livingston.

Jackson was selected by the Orlando Magic as the 36th pick, but his draft rights were acquired by the Bucks in exchange for a 2030 second-round draft pick and cash considerations.

Livingston is Milwaukee’s 58th overall pick. The Bucks are also expected to field their two undrafted free-agent acquisitions, Omari Moore and Drew Timme.

Milwaukee general manager Jon Horst also did not discount the possibility of the inclusion of Hugo Besson in the team’s Summer League lineup. Besson was Milwaukee’s 58th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft but was not included in the team’s regular lineup and was sent to the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A.
