Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger announce they're going to have a baby girl
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis and his fiancee Mariah Riddlesprigger will welcome a baby girl soon, and the two-time MVP is elated about it. The couple announced the development during the press conference of the Milwaukee Diaper Mission event on Monday.
Exciting times
As excited as Giannis is about the upcoming season, the “Greek Freak” is over the moon about the upcoming birth of his third child.
“This is exciting,” Antetokounmpo said.
“We want to have a big family. I know my two boys are going to be extremely excited to meet their little sister and protect her and spend time with her and play with her and grow up with her,” Giannis added.
While Giannis isn’t dishing out assists on the court, he’s doing so at home, this time for Mariah, who remarked how great the versatile forward is at getting her ice cream and basically whatever her heart desires. Giannis, though, joked that he now felt like a butler.
Helping families in Milwaukee
Despite the significant earnings Giannis receives from his NBA salary and endorsement deals, both he and Mariah were taken aback by the substantial amount they had to spend on diapers for their two young children. And so, they sought to help our families in Milwaukee by organizing Maverick’s Diaper Mission, a diaper drive that was conducted with the Milwaukee Diaper Mission. The event has since become a diaper and fund drive entitled “The BIG Give Back.”
“There's no way I can help the whole world, but you can start somewhere,” Riddlesprigger said. “I think this is where we start, and we continue to build and help as many people as we possibly can.”
