The Chicago Bulls visit the Boston Celtics hoping to end a six-game road losing streak and perhaps inject some life into what has been a dreadful campaign so far. Owners of a 5-13 win-loss record, the Bulls have lost four in a row and seven of their last eight games, including a 118-109 defeat at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets last Sunday—a game wherein they led by as much as 21 points, 30-9.

Mission is simple

The Bulls’ mission on Tuesday is both daunting and simple: try to get a win against a Celtics squad that sits atop the Atlantic Division with a 13-4 record.

“Try to get a win. Obviously, it hasn’t come. So we try to figure it out. That’s all we can control. We all care about each other here, and that’s what matters. We’re just not getting the result we want. That’s the sad part about it. Guys are out there talking and trying to help each other,” Bulls guard Zach LaVine said after their latest setback to the Nets.

Alex Caruso and LaVine are questionable to play

The Bulls are still in the dark regarding the status of both LaVine and defensive ace Alex Caruso for the game versus the Celtics, as the two have been listed as questionable. LaVine, who played in the last game, is dealing with soreness in his right foot, while Caruso, who missed the game against the Nets, is recuperating from an injured toe.

Boston, on the other hand, is also dealing with its fair share of injuries. Derrick White is probable to play while starting point guard Jrue Holiday is questionable because of an injured ankle. Big man Kristaps Porzingis, meanwhile, will not play because of an injured calf.
