After defeating the Toronto Raptors in overtime last night, the Chicago Bulls are traveling to Detroit for a division game. The team is in high spirits after a clutch performance and comeback victory. The game begins at 7 p.m. EDT, with the Bulls seeking to add one more win to their belt.

Division foe

The Detroit Pistons' home opener against the Chicago Bulls is unlikely to be easy. Bulls have won 15 straight games against the Pistons, including a four-game sweep in the season series. On Saturday night, the Pistons will try to end their losing run against their Central Division rival.

This season, Detroit have split their first two games. The Pistons upset Charlotte, 111-99, on Friday after a spirited rally in Miami fell one point short. With both teams being one-and-one, they will be motivated to start the season on a positive note. They should be cautious of the Pistons sophomore center Jalen Duren who had a strong start of the season.

Coach Donovan was happy after the first victory of the season

After a quite turbulent first game of the season that, in consequence, had a player-only meeting. The Bulls look now in much better shape and atmosphere, one person who for sure is quite satisfied with that is the HC Billy Donovan

He praised the team following an OT victory "I really, really appreciate just their grit and their fight," he said. "There was a lot of these emotional roller coasters and I give our guys credit; they kept their heads in the game and still tried to fight even when there was certainly bad moments in the game for stretches."

Lavine needs to step up

Zach Lavine had a problem finding his shoot in the first two games and will need to step up and be the team's second star. In his first two games, he is shooting 13.3% from the three-point line and 23.3% in total. These numbers are below average for an All-Star caliber player, Lavine is. But he did manage to have a game-clinching assist finding Caruso in the corner.

If he can get back to his regular shooting number Bulls will have a much easier time competing with Detroit and teams that are next on their schedule.
