After getting nipped by Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in heartbreaking fashion in their previous game, the Chicago Bulls (21-24) must try to find the resolve to shrug off that loss in time to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers (22-23) on Thursday at the Crypto.com Arena.

Clean sweep?

The Bulls aim to sweep their Western Conference foes after winning 124-108 in their first meeting back on December 21. That game saw the Bulls bring their A-game, resulting in eight players reaching double-figures in scoring. Spearheading the attack was Compton native DeMar DeRozan, who had 27 points and nine assists.

That victory was part of the Bulls’ resurgence from a horrendous 5-14 start. They finished December with an impressive 10-5 mark, which they did without All-Star guard Zach LaVine.

Will AD and LeBron play?

While the Bulls listed forward Patrick Williams as probable for Thursday’s game, the Lakers have their two stars—LeBron James and Anthony Davis—listed as questionable to play. LeBron is dealing with an ankle issue, while AD is being bothered by an Achilles injury.

With LeBron not suiting up in their previous contest, the Lakers suffered a 127-116 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
