After their scintillating come-from-behind victory over the West’s best, the Minnesota Timberwolves, last Tuesday, the Chicago Bulls (24-27) take to the road to battle the Memphis Grizzlies (18-33) on Thursday at the FedEx Forum.

Spirits are high

Momentum is clearly on the Bulls’ side after they took down the Wolves in overtime, 129-123. Chicago trailed by as many as 23 points but rode the hot shooting of Coby White and DeMar DeRozan to erase the deficit and prevail in the extra session. White and Deebo had 33 points apiece, Nikola Vucevic added 24, while Andre Drummond had a massive double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds.

The Bulls seek to kick off this four-game road trip on a victorious note against a Grizzlies team that has lost seven of its last 10 games. After establishing itself as a rising power in the West, Memphis has dropped off a cliff this season, no thanks to injuries suffered by its key stars such as Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Marcus Smart.

Could miss Craig

The Bulls are in the same boat as the Grizzlies, missing All-Star guard Zach LaVine, who’s out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair his ailing foot. Patrick Williams is also out because of an injured foot, while Torrey Craig is questionable to play due to a sprained ankle.

Bill Simmons says the Bulls' trade hesitancy for their players is the "dumbest thing of the year"
