The Chicago Bulls will try to right their wayward ship when they visit the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Thursday night. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. EST, with the Bulls—which tote a 9-16 record—looking to snap a two-game skid.

This will be the third time these two Eastern Conference rivals face off against one another. The Bulls won their first meeting this season, 102-97, but the Heat responded with a 118-100 victory in their second face-off last November 21.

Trying to find their rhythm once again

The Bulls are coming off tough losses against two formidable squads. Though they gave the Milwaukee Bucks all they had, they eventually succumbed in overtime, 133-129.

The very next night, Chicago hosted the reigning NBA champions Denver Nuggets and couldn’t find their second wind against a squad that didn’t have star guard Jamal Murray and lost ace center Nikola Jokic due to an ejection in the first half.

Coby White stepping up

With All-Star wingman Zach LaVine out for a few more weeks as he recovers from a foot injury, the Bulls have gotten sizable contributions from starting center Nikola Vucevic and rising star Coby White

The veteran big man is averaging 16.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists this season, while White has picked up the slack left behind by LaVine. The former Tar Heel is averaging 23.6 points over the last ten games for Chicago.

Coby White says the Chicago Bulls are not losing their confidence despite suffering back-to-back losses
