Chicago Bulls vs. Orlando Magic - GAME DAY PREVIEW
The Chicago Bulls (25-27) will try to end their two-game losing streak to the Orlando Magic (28-24) this season when the two teams face off at the Kia Center on Saturday. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. EST.
0-2 against the Magic this season
The Magic has had the Bulls’ number this season, pulling off two close victories at the United Center. Orlando first edged Chicago, 96-94, thanks to a clutch jumper by Paolo Banchero in the game’s dying seconds last November 16. A couple of days later, the Magic also emerged victorious, 103-97.
Those victories against the Bulls came when Chicago could not get anything going on both ends. They eventually ended November with a terrible 5-14 record. A lot has changed since then—although not personnel-wise—as the Bulls have found a style of play that suits their squad. Coby White has also risen to star status, helping the Bulls record a 20-13 mark since that horrible start.
White and Caruso are probable to play
Although White, Alex Caruso, and Torrey Craig were all on the team’s initial injury report, the three key guys will likely play against the Magic. White is coming off a 20-point, eight-assist showing against the Memphis Grizzlies. Caruso and Craig’s presence will be significant as their defensive acumen will be needed to hinder the Magic’s stars, Banchero and Franz Wagner.
