Chicago Bulls vs. Portland Trail Blazers - GAME DAY PREVIEW

After walloping the lowly Washington Wizards in their previous game, the Chicago Bulls (33-35) will try for a second straight victory on Monday night at the United Center when they battle the Portland Trail Blazers (19-48).
Can the Bulls complete a sweep of the Blazers?
These two squads are meeting for the second time this season. Chicago won their first match-up on January 29, 104-96, in Portland. DeMar DeRozan scored 20 points in that clash, while Coby White registered a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists.
A victory against Portland will be crucial for the Bulls as they try to gain ground on the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat, both of which have identical 37-30 records. However, the two aforementioned squads are also riddled with injuries to their stars. The 76ers are missing reigning MVP Joel Embiid, and the Heat still need Tyler Herro.

Coby White doubtful to play
While the Bulls received good news regarding Coby White suffering only a mild hip strain, the team has listed him as doubtful to play. Another key player who might not suit up against the Blazers is defensive whiz Alex Caruso, who is listed as questionable because of left toe soreness.

Billy Donovan said yesterday that White's window to return opens this week as long as he continues to progress. So either Thursday at Houston or Sat vs. Boston.
