Chicago Bulls host the Milwaukee Bucks with four players on the injury list
Coming off a 133-118 loss to the Houston Rockets, the Chicago Bulls (14-19) look to return to winning ways as they host the Milwaukee Bucks (22-11).
Lonzo Ball is still out with a left knee injury; Alex Caruso (concussion) and Javonte Green (right knee soreness) are questionable; Derrick Jones Jr. (left ankle sprain) is doubtful.
Chicago Bulls starting lineup:
C: Nikola Vucevic
PF: Patrick Williams
SF: DeMar DeRozan
SG: Zach LaVine
PG: Ayo Dosunmu
Green, Jones Jr. injury report
Javonte Green has been out since Chicago's 114-91 home loss against the Knicks on December 16 when he finished with seven points, three rebounds, and one assist in 18 minutes of action.
Green had come off the bench in 21 of his first 22 appearances before Billy Donovan inserted him into a starting lineup against the Golden State Warriors on December 2. The four-year forward then missed three consecutive games with a knee injury and hasn't been able to stay healthy since.
Derrick Jones Jr. could also miss his fourth straight game due to a left ankle sprain—he made his last appearance on December 20 in a 113-103 win against the Miami Heat.
With Green and Jones possibly out, Andre Drummond is next in line to receive extended playing time, after he had eight points, nine rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 18 minutes against the Rockets on Monday.
Caruso still dealing with concussion
Alex Caruso entered the NBA’s concussion protocol after taking a hard hit to the head/neck during the game against the Atlanta Hawks on December 21.
The 28-year-old was off to a great start—he had five points, two rebounds and two steals on 2-of-2 from the field in 10 minutes on the floor—but had to leave the game and is yet to make a return.
If Caruso is ruled out for tonight's game against Milwaukee, Ayo Dosunmu, Goran Dragic, and Coby White should all see increased minutes on the floor.
