The Chicago Bulls fall to the Orlando Magic in overtime

The Bulls fall to 0-3 against the Magic this season.

The Chicago Bulls saw their two-game winning streak come to an end after losing to the Orlando Magic in overtime, 108-114, on Saturday night.

Chicago came back from a five-point deficit with 1:32 left as DeMar DeRozan tied the contest at 101-all with a three-point play with 45 seconds left in regulation. The Bulls even had the chance to win it but DeRozan missed a three-pointer with 2.6 seconds left that sent the match into overtime.

Fought hard but came up short in OT.

The Magic took control by scoring the first six points in the extra five-minute session.

Big numbers from DeMar, Nikola

DeRozan led Chicago with 28 points, while Nikola Vucevic had 26 points and 17 rebounds. Ayo Dosunmu added 19 for the Bulls, who dropped to 10-16 on the road and 25-28 in the season.

The Bulls dropped to 1-1 in their current four-game road trip. They scored an impressive 129-123 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves before starting the road trip with a 118-110 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Orlando is a tough match-up for Chicago

Franz Wagner led Orlando with 36 points, his second-straight 30-point game. Paolo Banchero also helped the Magic secure their third-straight win over the Bulls this season by piling up 19 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds.

Orlando defeated Chicago in their first meeting on November 15th, 96-94, and won again in their second encounter on November 17th, 103-97.

Orlando, which improved to 29-24 in the season, also got 14 points and 11 rebounds from Cole Anthony and 13 markers from Jalen Suggs. Jonathan Isaac only had seven points for Orlando, but he had 12 rebounds and three blocked shots.
