The week behind the Chicago Bulls provided more highs than lows as they continued their late-season run toward the Play-in tournament. From their morale-boosting win over the Lakers to the moment when Michael Jordan introduced himself to the basketball world, here’s a list of the five best Bulls stories from the past week.

1. Chicago Bulls come away with an impressive road win over the Los Angeles Lakers

On paper, the Los Angeles Lakers were primed to hand the visiting Chicago Bulls a loss as they almost had their complete roster back with the return of LeBron James. However, the Bulls also welcomed back star wingman DeMar DeRozan while Patrick Beverley was up to his usual antics in a Bulls’ 118-108 win.

2. Billy Donovan says he loves Pat Beverley's honesty - "He's very, very honest and direct, and I think you need that in a locker room."

After floating around for most of the season like a ship without a captain, the Chicago Bulls may have found who they need in Pat Beverley, and Bulls coach Billy Donovan said the fiery guard has been vital in turning things around for the Bulls.

"He's very, very honest and direct, and I think you need that in a locker room. You need to have hard conversations. You need to be able to talk and communicate," Donovan said. "And I don't think he's afraid to do that."

3. Andre Drummond steps away from social media, says he's focusing on his mental health

Mental health is a hot-button topic these days, and Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond recently opened up regarding his struggles, announcing that he was deleting social media accounts to focus more on his mental health. Not long after making the announcement, Drummond missed the rematch at home versus the Lakers, citing “personal reasons.”

4. Isiah Thomas says Michael Jordan should publicly apologize for his comments

The feud between Chicago greats Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan had another chapter added after the former demanded a public apology from the latter for the disparaging comments made about him in “The Last Dance” documentary.

"You got on national television, and you called me an assh--e, and then you said you hated me," said the two-time champion with the Detroit Pistons. "You said that on national television. Now, if you didn't mean it, get on national television and apologize for it. Now if you meant it, let it ride as it is."

5. Madness moment: When Michael Jordan introduced himself to the basketball world

Before becoming a Bulls icon and a global phenomenon, His Airness was just Mike Jordan—a skinny kid with loads of potential. However, all that changed when he coolly canned a jumper that gave the University of North Carolina Tar Heels the win and the title in the 1982 NCAA men’s basketball finals.
