A year after returning to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2015, the Chicago Bulls are back to once again watching the games rather than competing in them after they got eliminated by the Miami Heat in the Play-in tournament. The loss brought about a long offseason for the Bulls, during which they need to answer many questions involving their roster. Here's a look back at five key stories about the Bulls this past week.

1. Arturas Karnisovas admits Chicago Bulls need to improve three-point shooting prowess next season

Finally, the team's executive vice president of basketball operations, Arturas Karnisovas, admitted that the Bulls need to improve their three-point shooting proficiency. During an end-of-the-season press conference, he said:

"It will be a priority for us to kind of change our shooting profile because it's very difficult for us to go into every game with such a deficit. We're last in rate, three-point rate, we're last in three-point field goals made. It's almost like we're going into every game with 8 points deficit to make up for it," said Karnisovas.

2. DeMar DeRozan expresses love to the city of Chicago for embracing him

The ending wasn't what All-Star DeMar DeRozan envisioned heading to this season. However, despite the elimination, Deebo expressed his appreciation to the franchise and the Windy City for embracing him like he was one of their own.

"Chicago's been everything for me, honestly," Deebo said. "I can't even find the words of appreciation and love that this organization and these fans have given to me. Just allowing me to be me, allowing me to be the person I always knew I was career-wise, and embracing it. It's been amazing."

3. Michael Jordan voted as the GOAT in an anonymous player poll

In a recent anonymous poll of NBA players, Michael Jordan was voted as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), with LeBron James coming in second. Although the gap was significantly cut down compared to the results of the poll four years ago, it's clear that Jordan is still most admired by current NBA players.

4. DeMar DeRozan finishes third for the NBA Clutch Player of the Year award

Deebo has a reputation for being one of the most clutch performers in the entire Association. Although he fell short in capturing the league's very first Clutch Player of the Year award, he finished third in the voting behind eventual winner De'Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings and Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat.

5. Derrick Jones Jr. says he's picking up his player option and returning to the Chicago Bulls

Athletic forward Derrick Jones Jr. said that he's returning to the Chicago Bulls for another season. Although nothing is official yet, the former slam dunk champion insists he's comfortable with where he's at right now and is keen on picking up his player option with the Bulls.
