The two new players of the Chicago Bulls will not have to wait long to take on their former squads, as the team’s preseason schedule has them taking on Central Division rivals Milwaukee Bucks and the reigning NBA champions Denver Nuggets.

Back at his former home

Jevon Carter, the two-way guard who the Bulls acquired in the offseason, will travel to Milwaukee in October to take on the Bucks. Although he spent just two seasons with the franchise, Milwaukee is where he hit his stride and had a career-best year this past season with solid averages of 8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. His stellar play with the Bucks eventually paved the way for the 6-foot-1 guard to sign a three-year, $20 million deal with the Bulls.

Torrey Craig faces his former team

On October 12, the Bulls will battle the Nuggets in a home-and-away set. This offers Torrey Craig, the Bulls’ newly-acquired forward, the chance to take on his former squad. Craig spent his first three seasons in the NBA with the Nuggets, who gave him a two-way contract in 2017. After facing Denver at the United Center, the Bulls head to the Ball Arena in Denver on October 15.

The Bulls wrap up their preseason slate with home games against the Toronto Raptors on October 17 and then versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 19.
