Coby White is overjoyed to see Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic healthy again as the Bulls reclaim their winning ways just in time. After regaining the services of two of their most vital cogs, the Chicago Bulls recovered their winning touch.

Winning in their last few games gave the Bulls such a tremendous push and elevation that they improved their record to 18-21 and are currently ranked ninth in the Eastern Conference. They are currently on a three-game winning streak, which can only improve as LaVine and Vucevic progressively rediscover their All-Star identities.

Happy for Zach and Vooch to be back

White couldn't be glad to see that both LaVine and Vooch are back in the lineup and have immediately had a positive effect on the Bulls’ recent campaigns.

Though he and Chicago managed to hold the line when Zach went out for over a month due to foot issues, and Vooch missed five games due to a groin strain, Coby stands thrilled about their heightened play with both of the team's stars now healthy and available.

“Yeah we're excited to get back the whole guys out there who missed a lot of time,” he said. “So we're excited. I'm just happy. Individually, I'm happy for those guys to be able to get back and doing what they love.”

Hoping for the best in TC

The one significant absence that the Bulls still need to be patient about is Torrey Craig. The 32-year-old veteran notably sustained an acute sprain of his right plantar fascia back in mid-December and is required to recover for around 8-10 weeks. By looking at the calendar, he is now nearly at the fourth week of his healing progress.

As such, Coby has his fingers crossed that Torrey will finally be able to find himself back and playing as soon as possible, as his versatility and defense are huge assets in Chicago's campaign this 2023-24.

“We're still missing a big piece in Torrey,” White said. “Like I always say, he's a big-time leader, big-time vocal guy, big-time defender who can knock down big shots.”

He added: “We still waiting for T-Craig, still praying he have a fast recovery, beat his recovery time. Me, individually, I just want those guys to get back. I know when the game was taken from me, [I know] how much you want to be out there.”
