The Chicago Bulls aren't sleeping well on Monday night knowing that they fumbled their 23-point lead in a massive meltdown against the Phoenix Suns. But amid this blunder, they do remain convinced that they should've been at least favored in a crucial call with around two minutes left in regulation.

As they were in front, 109-108, DeMar DeRozan took the ball in his hands and scored a tough and-1 mid-range bucket over the contest of Grayson Allen. But shockingly, the call was overturned upon the challenge made by the Suns and Deebo instead got called for an offensive foul on the said sequence — negating the pivotal foul- basket he drained which could've placed the Bulls on a much better momentum in the crunch time

A questionable overturn

Speaking in the postgame of the tough matchup, Deebo didn't hide his disappointment on what happened as he believed the officials made a wrong judgment in his play against Allen.

The call paved the way for Phoenix to pull off the come-from-behind victory as Kevin Durant sank a game-winning dagger with 1.1 seconds left to stun Chicago in the endgame

"That was bad in my opinion," DeRozan said. "I just thought that was bad. Regardless, I still thought I got fouled first then that happened afterwards. But just felt bad, I think that hurt us, give us that, go to the free throw line, make another free throw. The game is completely different.”

A crucial call that changed the game

DeMar reiterated that he got fouled first and was given contact by Allen before the pull he made against the Suns guard.

And with the painful loss now in the books, Deebo and the Bulls will further continue the three-game road trip with a bitter taste in their mouth.

“Like you said, it's unique. I felt, regardless, I got the shot off, feel like I got fouled before. I don't know.”

Kevin Durant rips the Chicago Bulls' hearts out as he hits a game-winning jumper to lift the Phoenix Suns to a 115-113 win
