DeMar DeRozan talks about his favorite Kobe sneakers
DeMar DeRozan is undoubtedly the king of Kobe shoes in the NBA. Basically the face of the Black Mamba's Nike signature basketball shoe line, Deebo has access to the most exclusive Kobes. When asked about his favorite Kobe pair to play in during the All-Star weekend where he represented the Chicago Bulls, the veteran wingman had a definitive answer.
DeMar is the ultimate expert and fan of Kobe's Nike basketball shoes
It is a well known fact around the NBA that Deebo is a huge fan and expert when it comes to Kobe's Nike basketball shoes so the person who quizzed him about it was Jose Alvarado—the New Orleans Pelicans guard who was named Rising Stars MVP last Saturday. DeRozan told him that his favorite sneaker to play in is the Zoom Kobe 4.
The Nike Zoom Kobe 4 is a low-top basketball sneaker that was released way back in 2008. It raised many eyebrows initially, being the first of the Kobe line to be released in a low-top design. However, it soon gained an immense following and remained sought after even long after Kobe's retirement and unfortunate passing.
The Zoom Kobe 4 had a lot of features that included a lightweight upper with Flywire technology. The midsole features Zoom Air cushioning for maximum comfort and responsiveness on the court.
Deebo displayed some gems from his collection
DeRozan showed off some gems from his deep cache of sneakers during the All-Star Game on Sunday. He first warmed up in the unreleased "BHM" Kobe 6 Protros.
He then played in the game with the "Optimism" Kobe A.D. Mids.
DeRozan finished the game with eight points, six rebounds, and five assists.
