The Chicago Bulls' offseason is in full swing, and with it comes the opportunity to reshape their roster and fortunes in time for next season. The Bulls, though, have yet to decide what direction they want to take: keep their core of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic, and hope for a much better outcome, or make some bold moves that could change the future of the team. With that in mind, here are a few trade ideas that could kick off the Bulls' offseason:

Nikola Vucevic for Deandre Ayton

Although the Bulls boasted a top-rated defense this season, they still lacked a rim protector that struck fear in the hearts of those who dared stray inside the paint. Vooch is a smooth player who exceeded expectations by playing in all 82 games this season. However, his best skill—scoring—overlaps with those of the two stellar wingmen.

Besides, it appears Ayton has also wore out his welcome in the Valley. Even though head coach Monty Williams—who Ayton reportedly clashed with—is no longer manning the team, a fresh start may be what the talented big man needs to revitalize his career.

DeMar Derozan for Tyus Jones and Steven Adams

The Memphis Grizzlies are another squad that has more questions than answers this season. A massive cloud of uncertainty hangs over the franchise as the NBA investigates the latest gun-toting incident of star guard Ja Morant. The consensus around the league is that the Grizzlies need more of a veteran presence to rein in their talented, but immature stud. And who better to do that than the sage veteran DeMar DeRozan?

For the Bulls, they would plug two holes in one transaction. Lonzo Ball will not be suiting up any time soon, and Jones figures to provide the team with a capable point guard replacement. On top of that, Adams provides some much-needed frontcourt depth and rim protection for the Bulls, who have been thin in both areas this season.
