Veteran forwards the Chicago Bulls would do well to acquire

The Chicago Bulls, as presently constructed, simply aren't good enough to make waves in the super-competitive Eastern Conference. Even with their "Big 3" of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic all healthy and playing solid basketball, the Bulls still couldn't sneak into the NBA Playoffs this past season.

The Bulls' brass appears to be deadset on keeping the team's core together, but they must make some changes around the fringes to make the team well-rounded. The power forward position could use some veteran presence and these two players could very well provide that.

Torrey Craig

Torrey Craig may not bring oohs and ahhs, but he gets the job done. The 32-year-old played 79 games for the Phoenix Suns this past season, starting in 60 of them and playing the 3-and-D role to near-perfection. He averaged 7.4 points and 5.4 points per game. Best of all, he shot 39 percent from long range, which would be a welcome addition to the Bulls' weak outside shooting.

JaMychal Green

Another rugged big man who knows his role and plays it to a T, JaMychal Green could be a sneaky and great pickup for the Bulls. He averaged 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Golden State Warriors last season, shooting 37 percent from deep. His best skill lies in setting tough screens, playing great physical defense, and popping out for open looks on the three-point line, which may come in handy in providing room for LaVine and DeRozan to work.
