Zach LaVine market "still barren" in condition
It's no news in the NBA that both Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls have indicated a willingness to end their collaboration. Even though he vowed his service to the franchise amid the trade commotion, Zach has left enough ominous indicators that point to his shaky dedication to the Bulls and even to Billy Donovan.
The bond between the two couldn't be stronger, considering the Bulls are now having their finest stretch of the season without LaVine. Since Zach's injury, Chicago has won nine of their previous 13 games and found success with a much more collective system.
As the Bulls are still possibly on the hidden lookout, it was reported that the generated interest around LaVine remains low and stagnant in forms.
Still no progress
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, it is yet to be seen if there will be a significant indication that rival teams will pursue the Bulls star.
Wojnarowski pointed out that Lavine's status in the market is considerably “barren” with the All-Star still inactive to play.
"The Zach LaVine market is still barren - especially with him working his way back from an injury," wrote Wojnarowski on Threads.
Nothing to rush about
As it stands, the Bulls should not be surprised if Lavine's name isn't as loud and demanding on the trade market just yet. Zach is still recovering from his foot injury which will have considerable active surgeries and rehab to regain his footing and conditioning. Teams will undoubtedly be cautious and ready to monitor the All-Star once he returns.
For now, the Bulls have no choice but to remain patient if they truly desire to ship LaVine away. Thankfully enough, they are still able to stand on their own, even in the absence of his scoring firepower.
