As the Chicago Bulls continue to confront doubts about their plan for the future, the pressure builds as the NBA's trade period approaches. As one of the must-see teams ahead of the trade deadline, nothing suggests that the Bulls will have an easy time in the next few weeks. With 11 games remaining on their schedule before the trade market closes, their season and future are truly on the line.

Mind your business

Nikola Vucevic isn't losing his mind about the unpredictability that revolves around him, his teammates, and the entire outlook of the team with less than a month left before the trade deadline.

For Vooch, he couldn't care less about what would be the judgment that the Chicago authority would deliver following their progress for the upcoming games.

‘‘Honestly, I really don’t focus on that,’’ Vucevic said. ‘‘It’s out of my control. Not what I get paid to do. It’s on the front office, whatever they decide to do.

‘‘I’m happy with the guys we have here, and I think we can play even better than we have. We have a lot more to show than we have so far. Whatever the front office wants to do, that’s on them.’’

Got what it takes to excel

Like Vooch, Alex Caruso holds the same positivity and optimism about how the Bulls have fared recently after their hellish beginnings this 2023-24.

While they cannot completely control how the leadership of Arturas Karnisovas will operate, A.C. believes that Chicago can only strengthen their look ahead of the trade deadline by extending the win stretches that they've enjoyed lately.

‘‘Trying not to veer out of my lane too much, but when we play the right way, we’re a good team,’’ Caruso said. ‘‘I think we’ve proven that a little bit last year and this year, even though you can’t put much weight in seasons you’re not in [the playoffs]. But we’ve beaten good teams, we’ve shown we can play with the good teams, and that’s the way you win late in the season.

“For us, it’s just about the consistency of it.”
