Last weekend, Bulls' legends Scottie Pippen and Luc Longley paid a special visit to Carlton Football Club and spent a tour of its facilities in Melbourne.

From hoops to footy

Carlton’s players and staff warmly welcomed both Scottie and Luc upon their landing at the team headquarters. The two Bulls greats even received customized jerseys and enjoyed a good time hanging around with the football club.

Pippen and Longley didn't also miss the chance to play Australian football and share their wisdom about the success of their basketball career and being vital members of the Bulls' celebrated history.

A pleasure to meet athletes beyond basketball

Scottie arrived in Australia to originally promote the National Basketball League (NBL) and express his support for Luc’s ball club, the Sydney Kings, on its upcoming 3-Peat chase in the 2024 NBL Finals. But he couldn't be more glad to have a brief stop in Carlton FC alongside his former Bulls teammate.

After a productive finish in both their men's and women's teams last year, the football club is currently gearing up for the forthcoming 2024 season of the Australian Football League (AFL).

“It's a beautiful club, a great place for the athletes to perform at their best,” Scottie said of Carlton FC.

“It's always great to meet athletes, especially people that kind of looked up on your career. For me, having an opportunity to meet a sports club like this and meet these athletes, it's amazing.”
