The 1992 Dream Team was so stacked with legendary skill and talent that the competition didn't stand a chance. With a roster that included Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, and Karl Malone, to name a few of the icons who were in Barcelona for the 1992 Summer Olympics, Michael Jordan didn't have to do all the heavy lifting.

That's not to say His Airness didn't have his share of incredible games, as he averaged 14.9 points, 4.8 assists, and a team-leading 4.1 steals per game. Here's a look at some of his notable performances during the tournament.

15 points and 12 assists against Germany

With so many weapons to play with, Jordan didn't have to flex his offensive muscles a lot and was content to distribute the rock and show off his playmaking skills. And while Jordan had 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, he also finished with 12 assists as Bird led the way with 19 points while Malone finished with 18 in a dominant 111-68 win for the United States.

21 points and 8 steals against Croatia

Jordan's penchant for responding to any slight is legendary. In this case, Croatia had Toni Kukoc on their squad—a player that then Bulls general manager Jerry Krause was dreaming of as the next leader of the Chicago Bulls. This was more than enough to get Jordan and Scottie Pippen going. Jordan had 21 points and put on a defensive clinic, ending up with 8 steals and 2 blocked shots. Kukoc, on the other hand, was limited to just 4 points on 2-of-11 shooting to go with 7 turnovers.

Too much talent

When you look at the talent and the teams we’re supposed to play against, it’s a massacre. It should never be close. We taught them the game of basketball. We’ve got people who have the ability and the height. We’re talking about the greatest players that play the game now and the team is the best team that’s ever been put together,MJ once said.
