Stoudemire to assist former teammate Nash on Nets bench

Former NBA center joining former Phoenix standout and current Brooklyn coach.

Former NBA center Amar’e Stoudemire will join old friend Steve Nash on the Brooklyn Nets’ coaching staff, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Nash was hired as Nets coach last month and is entering his first season as a head coach at any level. He presumably will be armed with stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving for the 2020-21 season.
