The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off an impressive, come-from-behind win against the Miami Heat. It was an exciting victory that showed just how resilient this group is.

Two members of the Cavaliers left the Kaseya Center making a little bit of history and reaching some impressive milestones.

Darius Garland

Darius Garland has always been known for his three-point shooting. This has already put him some elite company in franchise history.

Garland made Cavaliers history in their win over the Heat. He knocked down a three in the second half of last night's contest, but it had more significance than just another shot.

With that made three, he knocked down his 579th three-pointer as a member of the Cavaliers. This moved into seventh on the franchise's career list, and he passed fan-favorite and current Cleveland Charge assistant coach Daniel Gibson in the process.

Next up on the list is J.R. Smith, who hit 585 triples during his Cavalier tenure.

Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell put together a tremendous game against the Heat to help the Cavaliers walk away with a win. He finished with 27 points and dished out six assists.

However, the area where Mitchell really shined was grabbing rebounds. The 6-foot-3 guard grabbed 13 total boards against Miami, which is now a new career-high. His previous best mark was his 12 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019 as a member of the Utah Jazz.

This stat just goes to show how dynamic Mitchell is. Yes, his main strength is and will always be his shooting, but he's more than just that.
