The Cavaliers season is just around the corner, with just 32 days to go until the franchise opens up the preseason on the road at the Atlanta Hawks. With the season fast approaching, Spencer German and Tommy Wild got together for a fresh episode of the Cavs Insider Podcast.

After momentarily reflecting on Danny Green's departure, after inking a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers – a move that, looking back, Spencer believes wasn't worth what it cost the team in the end – the guys discuss just how much pressure the Wine and Gold are under heading into the 2023-24 season.

The guys note that the Cavaliers have a lot to prove after their embarrassing playoff exit last spring, but even more so because Donovan Mitchell's future weighs in the balance. Then, Tommy, shares a somewhat controversial take about the makeup of the Eastern and Western conferences and where the Cavaliers fit in the playoff picture.

Later, after the team bolstered their roster with additions like Georges Niang and Max Strus (among others) this offseason, the guys break down who the most important player will be if the team is going to achieve their lofty expectations this season. Also, new faces bring new anticipation, as Tommy and Spencer also share which players they're most excited to watch this season.
