The Cleveland Cavaliers brought in Max Strus for one particular season. He can shoot the lights out and has already lived up to that reputation in his short time with the organization.

Strus continued to make an impact with his floor-spacing ability against the Houston Rockets on Monday night helping the Cavs record an overtime win.

He even reached a career milestone as Strus knocked down his 500th career three-pointer at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

He went on to make a total of a trio of three-pointers against the Houston Rockets leaving his career total at 502 by the end of the game.

A large majority of his career threes have come outside of Cleveland considering Strus has only played in 27 games for the wine and gold.

Strus started his career with the Chicago Bulls, but only played in two games and didn't make a three in either of them. He then spent the next three seasons with the Miami Heat where he found his shot and knocked down 428 threes during his time in South Beach.

The 2023-24 season has been more of the same for Strus. He's averaging 37% from being the arc on 7.7 attempts a night. This floor spacing has really opened up Cleveland's offense allowing Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland more room to drive to the hoop.

Strus signed a four-year contract with the Cavaliers in the summer leading up to the season. He'll be a member of the organization for the foreseeable future and will continue to reach career milestones in a Cavs uniform.
