Things can change quickly in the NBA and Darius Garland found that out the hard way against the New York Knicks Game 3.

Garland was the player of the game in Game 2 scoring 32 points and making what felt like every shot he took. That was completely different in Game 3 as the point guard played in his first away game in the playoffs.

New York is known for having passionate, and sometimes hostile, fans and that's exactly what DG got a dose of on Friday night. After the game he said,

Not only was the offense just not there, but Garland will also now finish the season with an ankle injury after he rolled it on a cameraman and was in visible pain.

It will be interesting to see where Garland goes from here in Game 4. He was clearing laboring after rolling the ankle and this team needs him to step so they don't come home facing elimination.

Simply put, the Cavs need DG to show up in Game 4 or they'll be in a near-impossible situation of being down 3-1. The point guard has it in him, we saw it in Game 2 when he dropped a 32-piece on the Knicks.

Garland needs to come out aggressive in Game 4 while also looking to get his teammates involved as well. Garland shot 19 percent from the floor in Game 3 and also recorded just three assists. In His Game 3 performance, he dished out seven on top of his offensive explosion.

If DG can remain aggressive while also getting his teammates involved then the Cavs could easily tie this series up.
