Over the course of his NBA career, Donovan Mitchell has not been shy about how he feels about his Louisville Cardinals.

With an open night after the first week of Cleveland Cavaliers training camp ended, Spida decided to go to a highly-anticipated primetime college football matchup between his alma mater and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish — and he didn’t come alone.

Arriving in style, Mitchell brought his Cavs teammates to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium to take in the atmosphere.

Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Isaiah Mobley, Tristan Thompson, Caris LeVert and team personnel were seen getting off a private bus before the game, and Garland even got on the microphone with Mitchell on the field.

Mitchell and the Cavs proved to be a good luck charm, as the Cardinals remained undefeated with a 33-20 upset victory over the Irish.

You can add this to the long list of events Mitchell and his teammates have bonded over off the court.
