Donovan Mitchell, Isaac Okoro Final Injury Status For Cavs Vs. Lakers
The Cleveland Cavaliers prepare to host the Los Angeles Lakers and they'll need all hands on deck if they hope to defeat LeBron James in his return to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Cleveland is still waiting for their team to be back at full strength as the roster has been hit with a number of injuries. Both Donovan Mitchell and Isaac Okoro were deemed questionable leading up to the game and we finally know their final injury status.
Donovan Mitchell - Available
Donovan Mitchell has missed the last four games due to a hamstring injury. He finally returned to practice on Friday and did some work ahead of the game.
Good news for Cavs fans, Spida will be back in the lineup on Saturday night as he's been officially listed as available.
Mitchell is obviously a key player in Cleveland's overall success as he's averaging 29.2 points a night while shooting 48% from the floor.
Isaac Okoro - Available
Isaac Okoro started the season off on a high note finally becoming the three-and-D player the Cavs hoped he could be when drafting him. However, he was quickly sidelined with knee soreness and has missed the last nine games with the injury.
Like Mitchell, Okoro practiced on Thursday and will also be available to play against the Lakers.
Dean Wade, Ty Jerome - OUT
The Cavs will be without both Ty Jerome and Dean Wade on Saturday night as each player deals with a sprained ankle. This will be Jerome's 14th missed game of the season and Wade's second.
