Donovan Mitchell To Miss Fourth Straight Game For Cavs Vs. Heat
Despite being on a four-game winning streak, the Cleveland Cavaliers continue to be banged up and far from full strength. Coming off Tuesday's overtime win on the road vs. the Philadelphia 76ers, the team will not have Donovan Mitchell for the fourth consecutive game as he deals with a right hamstring strain.
Isaac Okoro and Ty Jerome will also be out for the Cavs with the same injuries that have kept them out of action for a significant period. Dean Wade is listed as doubtful with a sprained right ankle, while Caris LeVert is considered questionable with left knee soreness.
Despite the plethora of setbacks and inconsistencies the Cavs have had to overcome, they are playing their best basketball of the young season.
Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen have taken it upon themselves to get on the winning track up against tough competition.
As DG and JA have gotten more games under their belt after starting the season out with injuries, they have gotten into more of a groove in their two-man game. Mobley is also benefitting from the return of Allen and the attention he's drawn on the roll. Each has played a significant role in stepping up in different ways with guys out.
And with specifically the guard room down bodies, Craig Porter Jr. has burst onto the scene with no fear, making big play after big play late against the Sixers and dicing up the defending-NBA-champion Denver Nuggets for 21 points in the game before that.
The Cavs will try to continue their winning ways against a somewhat shorthanded Miami Heat team who will be without Tyler Herro, but still has Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler to lean on.
