The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the busiest teams when free agency began at the beginning of June. They signed a handful of players to help with floor spacing a three-point shooting which was one of the team's biggest holes last season.

One player the Cavs signed to address this was former Miami Heat sharpshooter Max Strus. Strus is a career 37 percent three-point shooter who will hopefully help Cleveland in this department.

ESPN put together a questionnaire for their journalists and Strus' name came up in one of the sections. One of the prompts was, "Which notable signing, extension, or trade will be deemed a success by the time Christmas Day games roll around?"

Andrew Lopez's gut instinct was to bring up Kristaps Porzingis finding his way to Boston, but he also took time to mention Cleveland's newest small forward. He said, "I definitely think both Max Strus (Cavaliers) and Gabe Vincent (Lakers) will prove the big deals that took them away from Miami worth it."

Let's hope that Lopez's prediction turns out to be correct.

The Cavaliers desperately need more perimeter shooting in order to create more space for Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley in the paint. They shot just 36 percent from behind the arc as a team last season which won't cut it in the playoffs.

Strus wasn't the only player Cleveland brought in over the summer who will get minutes in the every-night rotation. They signed Georges Niang who should help space the floor as a power forward.

The Cavs could easily be a top team in the Eastern Conference if both of these signing turn about to be a success.
