Game Highlights: Cavs 40-Point Win Over Bucks

The Cleveland Cavaliers dismantled the Milwaukee Bucks in their 135-95 win.

The Cleveland Cavaliers came out of the gates hot against the Milwaukee Bucks and never looked back. They took down the Eastern Conference's second seed and beat them by 40 points in an impressive offensive display.

Cavaliers Vs. Bucks Game Highlights

This game was truly never close. Cleveland's largest lead of the night was 47 points and their 135 points is tied for their season high. The Cavs also shot an ultra-efficient 59% from the floor and 43% from behind the arc.

Donovan Mitchell set the tone early as he scored 14 points in the first quarter alone. He finished the game with 31 points in only 25 minutes of play. Cleveland is still looking to get several players back from injury, there was no reason to risk their superstar player getting injured in this one.

Spida also set a career milestone as he surpassed 11,000 career points.

Georges Niang was the surprise impact player in this game. He's been a solid bench player for the Cavaliers this season but we've never seen him put on a performance like this one. Niang scored a career-high 33 points while shooting 96% (13-14) from the floor. He was knocking down threes, driving to the rim, knocking down mid-range shots, all of it.

Cleveland's defense also deserves some recognition too. They finished the game with a defensive rating of 94.6 against one of the best teams in the NBA. No, Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't play, but Damian Lillard and company are still a respectable foe.

Next up for the Cavaliers is the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.
