The Cleveland Cavaliers didn't sit on the sidelines during the NBA offseason. They signed both Georges Niang and Max Strus to multi-year contracts in order to address their biggest weakness, three-point shooting.

The offense is going to look a lot different having two new key players in the rotation. But just how much will Niang and Strus be featured in the game plan? J.B. Bickerstaff outlined what the goal for these two will be heading into the season, via NBA.com:

"They’re going to be a part of it. Their skill sets help the guys we have. Give Kobe [Altman, Cavs president of basketball operations] and [Cavs general manager] Mike Gansey and those guys a ton of credit to find guys who help your best players."

Bickerstaff is correct about both of these guys having a lot of talent.

Niang will enter his eighth season in the NBA and he's put up solid numbers wherever he's been. The 29-year-old has shot 40 percent from behind the arc on almost four attempts during his career.

The Cavs will never ask Niang to be someone who can score 20 points a night, but having a reliable big off the bench will help this team's depth.

Strus is another player who has a solid track record. He spent the last three seasons with the Miami Heat and averaged 10.1 points while shooting 43 percent from three in that time.

Cleveland needed another shooter to help space the floor and Strus is a great option to do this. Getting him involved in the game plan will force opponents to keep an eye on him Strus wherever he is on the floor.

Now the question is whether this is enough to make a deep playoff run. We'll find out once the season gets underway in just a couple of weeks!
